Jon Prom is an Alberta-based landscape artist most known for his life-like renditions of the Canadian Rockies. He works primarily in the acrylic medium on canvas and frequently includes epoxy resin on water features to further reinforce the realistic nature of his work. After almost two decades of creating, painting as an artist became his full-time career purpose after many years of learning paralleling skills and techniques as a car painter and wrapper.

As an intrinsically innovative person, Jon is continuously experimenting and creating new artwork with diverse mediums, unique techniques, and creative processes. With his passion for nature and the creative spark it provides, much of his artwork is inspired by the outdoors and vivid memories, whether a single iridescent feather floating from the open sky, the perpetual engine hum below a vibrant evening metro skyline, or a warm ray of sunshine on a vast mountain view.
